A one-point perspective drawing is a drawing that uses a single vanishing point on the horizon line to create an illusion of depth in visual art. This is the easiest type of perspective drawing to make. It is often used when drawing objects that are directly facing the viewer. This method is made up of parallel lines that converge into a single vanishing point. It depicts objects getting smaller as it moves farther from the viewer and nearer to the vanishing point, converging somewhere in the horizon line.

How to Draw a One-Point Perspective Drawing of a Road and Houses
1. Draw a horizon line and mark the vanishing point on the horizon line, represented by a dot.

2. Draw two diagonal lines that meet at this vanishing point. This will serve as the road.

3. Draw other lines above the horizon line, which will serve as guides for drawing the houses or buildings.

4. Draw the first structure, or house, using the guidelines. Every line in the drawing should point to or converge to the vanishing point.

5. Proceed to draw the other houses, structures, objects, and details in the drawing, still abiding by the guidelines and rules for drawing from one-point perspective.
